Port & Maritime Services
Forged International Marine Services programs provide fully-comprehensive security details for Structural Offshore Operations and International Merchant Marine transports and convoys. Our teams are well versed in Admiralty Law, foreign law, and private international laws set forth by the International Maritime Organization (IMO). We strictly adhere to the UN rules of engagement (ROE) protocols and Best Management Practices set forth by the NATO Shipping Center, and the Maritime Security Centre Horn-of-Africa (MSCHOA) to provide maximum protection to our clients while deterring potential conflicts at fixed oceanic structures, during in-port transactions, and from port to port.
Forged International Marine Services Team Members undergo our rigorous screening, testing, and selection process, and are composed of former members of the U.S. Marines, Navy, Coast Guard, SEAL, and Special Operations teams. Team members have toured the Gulf of Aden, the Gulf of Oman, the Somali Basin, the Bab-Al-Mandeb Straights, and the Southern Red Sea. Their experience is complemented by specialized training through the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the United Nations Maritime Security Procedures programs.
As with our ground teams the primary focus of FI Marine Services is the safe transport of material goods and personnel through the use of early threat detection, deterrent action, or minimal force intervention in accordance with international law. The preemptive tactics and measures advised by NATO include acoustic, soft ballistic, or hydro-cannon deployment. The use of deadly force is undertaken with extreme caution and in full alignment with “lawful defensive action” as defined by the Maritime Laws and Procedures Act. Your safety is our first priority, and the best response to a potential crisis is to avert it through superior technological means of detection and advanced preemptive action by highly trained professionals.
Maritime Training Services: Forged Maritime Security Training Programs can update your existing security procedures as well. A training unit can be deployed to any location to conduct a review of any vessel’s current security program, and then overhaul your program to include the latest threat intelligence, technological instrumentation, and response-action protocols for your staff. FI provides full training from threat detection to response variables with real-time drills, simulated hostile-action response, and, advanced weapons training. Readiness is the best defense and our highest priority in protecting your organization’s assets.
